Grand Canyon and Route 66 ~ Spring 2007

We started out with lunch at a diner.

We stopped at a roadside store.

We made it to the Grand Canyon in about 6 hours.

We saw a Lynx on the trail.
We hiked part way down into the canyon.

On the way home we stopped at Walnut Canyon and looked at Indian cliff dwellings.

We also stopped at Sunset Crater Volcano in Arizona.

Another place we stopped was the Wupatki Pueblo Trail.

Before we came home, we stayed a night at the Wigwam Motel.

The accommodations were... modest.

The last stop before home was the Petrified Forest.

Reptile was not petrified!
